Shade Quilts for Temple of Whollyness

The Shade Quilts were a set of 16 enormous shade quilts, 20x20 feet. They were designed and constructed for the Temple of Whollyness by a team of female artists, who created geometric designs out of plastic mesh and recycled canvas fabrics. The quilts were hung around the perimeter of the larger architectural structure, and provided shade as well as beautiful light patterns that changed throughout the day.
